Since the founding of Levi Strauss & Co. in 1853, the brand has championed equality, inclusion and progress. From integrating factories during the 1950s before the federal government passed the Desegregation Act to working to repeal Proposition 8, which banned gay marriage in California, Levi's has always put people before profit.
