Prague Pride 2025 has started. Where to go this year? These are the events you can't miss
The festival has eight main venues where you can go:

Pride Village (Shooter's Island) - the community and cultural heart of the festival with programming all week (except Saturday).

Pride House (French Institute) - a space for lectures, debates and workshops.

Pride Youth (Scout Institute in Rybarna) - a place for young people under 30.

Pride Gallery (Langhans - Centre for People in Need) - exhibition of contemporary queer art Where Our Home Is.

Pride Cafe (Dorado Coffee in the Kinský Summer Palace) - a chill place with a programme in English.

Pride Cinema (Edison Filmhub) - screening of queer films.

Pride Parade - Saturday rainbow parade from Wenceslas Square to Letná Plain.

Pride Park (Letná) - Saturday concerts, spoken word and entertainment for 200 CZK.
Tips where to go during the week
1. Exhibition Where Our Home Is (all week, Pride Gallery)
Curated by Natálie Drtinová and Pavel Liška, this event features artists who are dedicated to the queer experience and relationship to home. The exhibition reflects both the joy and pain associated with the search for acceptance in one's own country.
2. Studio N Live Podcast.
Journalist Filip Titlbach will talk about the situation of queer people in Hungary with Zora Hesova and Filip Harzer. The political context and personal stories promise a powerful experience.
3. Drag talkshow Chi Chi on the couch (Pride Village)
The premiere of a new talk show with legendary drag queen Chi Chi Tornado and guests from the new generation of performance artists. If you love drag and want to laugh too, don't miss this one.
4. Queer Voices: Talkshow in the open air (Pride Voices by Durex, multiple locations)
Talkshow with queer personalities such as writer Emma Kausc, poet Marian Staffen and activist Veroni Gyenge. Topics range from faith and literature to coming out and mental health.
5. Queer happiness in a cis world (Pride House)
Discussions with leading experts and professionals such as Michal Pitoňák or Pavla Doležalová on how to live a fulfilled life in a society that is not set up for everyone.
7. Faith in the colours of the rainbow (Pride House)
Conversations with pastor Michaela Kušnierikova and priest Martin Kováč about spirituality and queer identity. Without moralizing, but with humanity and understanding.
8. Queer History and Memory (Pride House)
Lectures on forgotten trans figures of the 20th century, lesbian history or queer people's relationship to home through the eyes of historians.
9. Live podcasts (various venues)
Check out recordings of your favorite shows - like the Pot podcast about relationships and emotions, Lit about literature, or Gay Guys, where they talk about everything that's silent elsewhere.
Saturday 10: Parade and Pride Park (Letná)
The highlight of the week. After the rainbow parade from Wenceslas Square, everyone heads to Letná, where Aneta Langerová, rapper Tea Fannie, Slovak Vojtik and dance duo something something will perform. DJs Azo and Mabel will round off the day's programme.
How to enter Pride Park?
This year, for the first time, a symbolic 200 crowns is charged for the Saturday programme. You can buy your ticket online and exchange it for a wristband during the week - ideally at Pride Village or at Wenceslas Square on Saturday. You can avoid the queues and go straight for a beer or ice cream.
