When the architects and husband and wife team Gabriela and Petr were thinking about a new home a few years ago, it wasn't easy for them. They couldn't agree on the design or the location. In the end, coincidence decided for them. They passed by their current place of residence, which is still under reconstruction, purely by chance and thought that they would like such a building. When they subsequently saw the same house in a sales advertisement, and also discovered that it was a historic property dating back to 1925, it was clear. From that moment on, they began to project a new chapter in their lives.

Hope
The Hope Foundation provides comprehensive support to homeless people, from basic assistance such as food and shelter to active efforts to help them re-enter society. Their goal is not only to address the current crisis, but also to help people find their way back to a permanent home. I'm sure we can all agree that the covid pandemic has changed the lives of a significant number of people. In addition to finding a new job, involuntary "house arrest" has made us think about how we spend our free time in general. How to use it in the most meaningful way? This is what Jan and Michaela, graduated chemical engineers, asked themselves at the time. And since they had always been close to architecture and design, they thought they would use their own hands to transform an unused part of the family property into a living space for their own use only. But this plan didn't quite work out and today their joint work is a very popular destination for travellers and lovers of unusual accommodation. What impetus led them to the decision to share their own space with others? How did they incorporate their ecological thinking into the project? And do they plan to expand their business to include another property?

It all started when František and Jirka moved from the village to a small apartment in nearby Chocni. After a short time, they felt that their living situation was not suitable for them because they could not have any animals, which they were used to. So they decided to get their own house where they could be their own masters and do the things they enjoy without restrictions. And so began the story of their renovation, which they started sharing with their followers on their Instagram account "Buzzy in Action".
