Would you like to last longer in bed? Take inspiration from tips from adult film actors
The main thing is to hang in there!
Although it’s said that for most women, ten minutes of sex is more than enough and they tend to appreciate well-executed foreplay, many men are still plagued by the fear of premature ejaculation, so they look for ways to last as long as possible. And surely no one is better qualified to talk about how to work on sexual stamina than porn actors...
To become a porn actor, a man must be able to maintain an erection for at least half an hour, though sometimes filming goes on even longer. It is therefore an open secret that many men working in the porn industry use all sorts of performance-enhancing substances, sometimes even in the form of injections into the penis. However, there are, of course, solutions you can safely try in the comfort of your own home.
So how do you go about it? Logan Pierce says: “When I feel like I’m about to come at any moment, I try to imagine I’m somewhere else, in some unimaginably boring place. Or I tell myself that the floor is uneven and uncomfortable, my tailbone is aching, I’m fed up with this position, and to top it all off, my bum’s sweaty. That usually helps.”
Another porn actor, Dick Chibbles, has a different method: “Communication is key. I usually give my partner a quiet tap so it doesn’t show up on camera, and whisper to her, ‘Slow down, we’ve still got three quarters of an hour to go!’ I’ve also developed a breathing exercise where I focus solely on my breath and can barely feel my penis.”
“The key to my success is Kegel exercises. I think men should do Kegels too, to strengthen their pelvic floor and learn to delay ejaculation. It’s not difficult at all. Most men have noticed that they can stop the flow when urinating. You just need to engage exactly the same muscles when masturbating or having sex,’ advises Johnny Goodluck. He also points out that, in his time working in the porn industry, he’s learnt which positions make it easier to climax and which don’t.
Aaron Thompson’s trick, however , is somewhat more painful. “When I feel it coming, I turn away so that my face isn’t visible, and bite down as hard as I can on my finger or gum. The pain helps me forget what’s happening around my penis and helps me last longer.”
Ryan Driller, on the other hand, has two tricks up his sleeve: “Firstly, lube is a brilliant thing. In some scenes, we use loads of it. Not only does it look great on camera, but it also helps to numb the sensation in my penis. It also helps if I really focus on the girl I’m filming with and on her pleasure. When you try really hard, you almost forget about yourself. Not to mention that in the final minutes of filming, your co-star usually returns the favour with interest.”
