Sometimes it seem designers want to give us a fashion history lesson throughout their Fall/Winter 2017 collections. And while sometimes it is amusing, most of the time it screams “I do not have any original ideas” and of course our past is a great source of inspiration in both good and bad way. Past certainly inspired Blockade’s limited capsule collection called LUST & SOUND.

Collection inspired by fall of the Berlin Wall, Soviet and Post-Soviet era and its culture. You can see prints on clothes pointing towards group “Kino” and print “Save the Robots” pointing to a Soviet cartoon called “Well, Wait”. Another prints make a reference towards Joy Division or Trainspotting. This wearable history lesson is actually quite enjoyable!
