Have you ever watched a sushi chef at work? If yes, you know that it requires precision and skill. We would like to present you “shoe-shi” chef Yujia Hu, who creates incredible sushi. He incorporates streetwear, sneakers or pop culture icons into his edible creations.
Maybe some traditional sushi chefs may be offended by these styles and don´t consider it to be Japanese food at all. However we love the creativity of this sushi chef. The young cook works in a Japanese restaurant in Milan called Sakana Sushi. His special creations prepares during his off-hours.
On his Instagram account you can see NBA superstars, artists, actors, streetwear, sneakers, all made from sashimi, seaweed and of course rice. This Milan-based artist and chef creates not only shoes that look good enough to eat. His obsessively detailed sushi is truly the stuff of tiny art.
