When our body lets us know we need to defecate, most of us look for the nearest toilet, ideally equipped with toilet paper. Not so Masana Izawa. The 74-year-old Japanese man is a proponent of noguso, or what he calls defecating in the open air. He adheres to this unconventional philosophy of life without exception, and has not hesitated to risk the love of his life.
